We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with behavioral health needs, helping them achieve greater independence and improved quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and support to individuals with behavioral health needs, ensuring adherence to care plans and medical documentation standards.
- Implement behavioral therapy techniques, focusing on applied behavior analysis and behavior management strategies.
- Collect and analyze data on patient progress, particularly for children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including those with autism.
- Assist in daily living activities (ADLs) and promote independence through teaching and support.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), behavioral health, mental health, or related areas.
- Completion of, or willingness to complete, a 40-hour training program focused on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and strategies.
- Strong understanding of behavioral intervention techniques and a passion for working with individuals with developmental and behavioral challenges.
