Job Description
Overview
Must hold a current and valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). High school diploma or equivalent is required. Completion of 40 hours of training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from an approved provider.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients. Attention to detail and the ability to accurately collect data during client sessions.
Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of individuals with autism and their families. Flexibility to work a schedule that may include evenings and weekends, based on client needs. Reliable transportation to travel to client homes or our center locations, as required.
Responsibilities
Implement Behavior Analysis Support Plan (BASP) precisely as instructed. Collect data in every session according to BASP instructions. Monitor client progress and probe for advancement opportunities.
Provide recommendations for program adjustments based on client needs. Develop necessary materials for clients. Collaborate effectively with the team. Attend scheduled training/supervision meetings. Meet billable hour requirements. Adhere to the Profession’s ethical compliance code for ABA. Maintain confidentiality and report potential ethical violations.
