As a BCBA at Elemy you will have responsibilities that include the following:
- Conduct initial assessments and annual re-assessments of children on caseload
- Create and maintain treatment plans for the family and that meet insurance company requirements
- Case supervision RBTs while present
- Conduct training sessions for parents
- Provide timely documentation that includes necessary information to support procurement of insurance authorizations and ongoing claims submission
- Provide communication in accordance with industry standards to treatment team and clients in accordance with industry standards
- Utilize computer access confidentially, appropriately and following HIPAA guidelines, including appropriate use of social media
- Collaborate as a team with other service providers
- Follow company policies and practices and for BCBA contractors, including participating in any required trainings
- Ability to adapt to changes in schedule and environment
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis, Special Ed, Psychology, or Related Field
- Valid BCBA Certification
- Applicable license to practice within the state hired
- Minimum 3 years experience of ABA
- Minimum 1 year experience of overseeing and providing feedback and support to behavior technicians (RBT, BT, BI etc.) and writing treatment plans
- Minimum 1 year experience providing supervision, caregiver training, and conducting assessments via Telehealth
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Successful completion of a background check
- Ability to travel when necessary
